GUIDELINES FOR ELABORATION AND SUMBMISSION OF PRESENTATION

PLENARY SEPAKERS PRESENTATIONS

We recommend a maximum duration of 45 minutes per presentation. Be very mindful of the time allocated to your presentation. Please, do not use all the time with your talk: leave some time to potential questions from the audience.

For your presentation you should prepare a PowerPoint*.pptx presentation that does not exceed the indicated presentation time. Slide size should be 16:9 widescreen. You can find the template on the Meeting web page, communications device.

Conference rooms will be equipped with computer (PC, no Macintosh) Windows 10 Professional operating system, Microsoft Office 365. No overhead projector will be available.

Personal computers may not be used. If Macintosh is used to prepare the PowerPoint presentation, it must be ensured that it runs on PC with Windows 10 Professional.

The official language of the presentations is English, except in the S1 Didactics session where the official language is Spanish.

Presentations must be delivered to the Speaker's Room, located in the Hall Hipóstila, at least 2 hours before the session starts or, ideally, the day before.

INVITED SPEAKERS PRESENTATIONS

We recommend a maximum duration of 25 minutes per presentation. Be very mindful of the time allocated to your presentation. Please, do not use all the time with your talk: leave some time to potential questions from the audience.

For your presentation you should prepare a PowerPoint*.pptx presentation that does not exceed the indicated presentation time. Slide size should be 16:9 widescreen. You can find the template on the Meeting web page, Abstract section.

ORAL PRESENTATIONS

The maximum overall time for presentation and discussion of your abstract is 15 minutes. Be very mindful of the time allocated to your presentation. Please, do not use all the time with your talk: leave some time to potential questions from the audience. It is strongly recommended that you prepare your presentation for a maximum of 12 minutes, leaving 3 minutes for questions.

For your presentation you should prepare a PowerPoint*.pptx presentation that does not exceed the indicated presentation time. Slide size should be 16:9 widescreen. You can find the template on the Meeting web page, communications device.

ORAL FLASH PRESENTATIONS

The overall time of your presentation is 5 minutes. Except for S2. Disruptive Advanced Materials: Synthesis, Properties and Applications, which will be 3 minutes. Be very mindful of the time allocated to your presentation.

In addition, Flash presentations will be able to present (recommended) a poster. There will be no question time during the session. The discussion of the abstract will be moved to the poster session.

For your PowerPoint presentation:

Each author must print and bring to the Meeting his/her poster in a size of 120cm high x 90cm wide. A template (not mandatory) can be found on the web page of the Meeting, Abstracts section.

You must hang your poster, with the material provided in the room by the organization, on the panel identified with your presentation code. The code of your poster corresponds to the code of your oral flash presentation.

Posters that have not been removed at the indicated times will be removed and discarded by the Organization.

POSTERS

Each author must print and bring to the Meeting his/her poster in a size of 120cm high x 90cm wide. A template (not mandatory) can be found on the web page of the Meeting, Abstracts section.

Each poster should remain hanging for two days, although presenters should only present themselves in front of their poster in the assigned session.

The sessions are distributed as follows:

 

Poster session 1 - Monday, June 26 - 17:00-18:00 y Poster session 2 -Tuesday, June 27 - 17:00-18:00

Hung: Monday 26 before 11:00

Remove: Tuesday 27 after 18:00

Retirar: Martes 27 después de las 18:00

Symposia: S2, S5, S7, S8, S9, S11, S14 y S15

Poster presentation will take place on Monday 26 for posters with an odd presentation code and on Tuesday 27 for posters with an even presentation code.

 

Poster session 3 - Wednesday, June 28 - 16:00-17:00 y Poster session 4 - Thursday, June 29 - 16:00-17:00

Hung: Wednesday 28 before 11:00

Remove: Thursday 29 after 17:00

Symposia: S3, S4,  S6, S10, S12, S13 y S16

Poster presentation will take place on Wednesday 28 for posters with odd presentation codes and Thursday 29 for posters with even presentation codes.

You must hang your poster, with the material provided in the room by the organization, on the panel identified with your presentation code. This code has been sent by e-mail to the contact person of the contribution.

Posters that have not been removed at the indicated times will be removed and discarded by the Organization.
